System Requirements


The National Adviser Services systems operate from a centrally hosted location. Advisers using FINNAS only require an Internet browser and standard document reader applications to be installed and maintained on their computer systems. However, it is strongly recommended that advisers also have up-to-date anti-virus software and a firewall to ensure protection against malicious code and unauthorised access to their computers.

Recommended specifications to use FINNAS

  • Pentium IV 2.0GHz
  • 2048Mb (2GB) RAM or higher
  • 1.5 Mbs Broadband Internet account
  • 1280x1024 Monitor Resolution or higher

FINNAS performance will be greatly improved if your PC meets or exceeds the recommended specification.

FINNAS requires outgoing TCP port 80, 443, 22, 8700 to be open.
