Training and Support

The successful partnership between NAS and our Insurance Brokers is built on Authorised Representatives achieving and maintaining appropriate Broker skills and knowledge. This includes a complete understanding of the appropriate compliance requirements. As an NAS Broker, the understanding of compliance in your business is essential, as all ARs operate under the ASIC requirements and financial services legislation.

NAS Brokers and staff manage their General Insurance portfolio with FINNAS - the purpose built Web-based, fully integrated system covering client relationship management, General Insurance processing, and insurance accounting.

When joining NAS, you and your staff are provided a 3 day onsite personalised training program with reference materials to learn the FINNAS processing and NAS Broker Procedures. FINNAS  training includes:

  • Full life-cycle policy processing
  • Client data management
  • Claims management
  • Compliance recording
  • Portfolio reporting
  • Accounting and debtors management

Additional training is provided by NAS Insurance Brokers at regular Professional Development Days, some in association with the Steadfast Group.  Options for additional and specific training can be arranged by negotiation with NAS, including remote online desktop conferencing.
